Description

Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a fox standing behind a blue triangle that contains a forest scene. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. The result is wide acceptance of giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. He enjoys combining the visual aspects inspired by both his 2d and 3d experience. The attainable excellence that giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. Today, Farkas continues his freelance work into T-shirt design. Self-taught in programs like flash and dreamweaver, Robert worked as a freelance designer, which eventually LED to an art director position. After additional studies in programming, Farkas moved into the realm of television graphics, designing for several major Hungarian channels.
