Trademark Fine Art Ali1887-C3047Gg Jenny Newland 'Surprise' Canvas Art

Description

A native of Tucson, Arizona, Jenny Newland has been painting professionally for eighteen years. This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a tiger crouching, mid-roar, in shallow water surrounded by grass. Jenny is best known for her realistic, life like portraits of animals that, according to her admirers, are brought to life with colorful detail and sweet expressions. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. Jenny is able to capture the personalities of her adorable subject so well, because she and her family are surrounded at home by four dogs, fifteen cats, and various farm animals. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a tiger crouching, mid-roar, in shallow water surrounded by grass. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. She studied at Northern Arizona University, Glendale Community College, and with graphic designer Chris Delorica.
