Description

Uncovering memory, the passage of time and our reflections on the cycle of life, the paintings depict an idyllic mystical world. They reveal the fleeting past while reminding us to fully experience the always transient present moment. Rachel Paxton's paintings incorporate archetypes of nature and spirituality to explore life's universal rhythms. This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a large bumble bee painted over a distressed background. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.
