About this product

Description

Acrylic Finish replaces the glass with a textured finish that gives the print the look and feel of an original painting. It sits on the rocky entrance to Eagle Harbor and is one of several light stations that guide mariners on Lake Superior across the northern edge of the Keweenaw Peninsula. Framed in a 3-5/8" Red - Brown Mahogany colored frame with gold edges. Eagle Harbor Light is an operational lighthouse at Eagle Harbor, in Keweenaw County in the state of Michigan. It sits on the rocky entrance to Eagle Harbor and is one of several light stations that guide mariners on Lake across the northern edge of the Keweenaw Peninsula. This print will be treated with our Acrylic Finish. Our giclee prints are printed on matte paper. I love giclee prints made using matte paper for the way the color absorbs and reflects light. This finish also has a non-glare effect that makes viewing your painting more enjoyable. Use landscape paintings and photographs in areas of repose to give your home a peaceful feeling. That means they will have a rich, deep color gamut. The original lighthouse, built in 1851, was replaced in 1871 by the present red brick structure, which is a Michigan State Historic Site and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
