I used to have a larger kit so these hats made sense at the time but I've since traded down in size and go exclusively for light 13s now. Perfect for louder music like rock and metal these things really sound their best when played open. These ones in particular have been with me for a while and have a few scars (pictured) and patina to show for it but thankfully no cracks. The 2002 sound edge hats cut through the mix and will destroy your ears. This ad is for the pair with its medium weight top and medium/heavy bottom.
