“Calendar” soles are made by running a continuous sheet of uncured rubber through a dual-roller press. Calendar soles can be cut in a variety of shapes and contours to suit the use of the model. Designed with a breathable 4-way airmesh lining and 5mm densoprene foam insulation, these boots are designed to keep the rain and cold out, and keep the dryness and warmth in. The inherent low center of gravity on calendar soles provides excellent stability on uneven terrain. The DryShod Legend Camp Boot is an ankle height boot, making it one of the most versatile boots made by DryShod. Once pressed, the soles are hand cut on a template with a hot knife. The top roller is etched with a tread pattern while the bottom roller is smooth. The uncured soles are then applied to the upper boot and vulcanized together to form a seamless permanent chemical bond. The boots are 100% waterproof and feature a Hydrokote water repellent coating that means no more soggy boots - water rolls right off and dries in seconds. Easy to slip on and off, these boots offer protection from the elements as well as comfort when tall boots aren't necessary.
